Data protection is paramount, as it represents the totality of business systems and processes. However, protecting data after it leaves on-premises datacenters and moves to a new hybrid-cloud environment represents a new set of modern challenges. Two of the most common of these are the need to extend one’s own datacenter to Amazon Web Services (AWS), and the need to back up Microsoft Office 365.
AWS: This part of the session will educate attendees on the ways that organizations can create seamless integrations with AWS to increase business innovation and agility by utilizing AWS as an extension of their datacenter. This includes storing primary backups on site, with low recovery time objectives (RTOs) and reduced costs, by archiving secondary backups in Amazon S3 Glacier. The session will also cover how to mitigate risk and ensure the availability of AWS cloud-native workloads.
Microsoft Office 365: Although protecting on-premises data is a no-brainer, many organizations overlook protecting cloud data. And even though Microsoft provides powerful services within Office 365, a comprehensive backup of your Office 365 data is not one of them. In this half of the session, Integra specialists will outline the steps for eliminating the risk of losing access and control over your Office 365 data-including from Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams-while ensuring it is always protected and accessible.
